Umbraco 7.1.x - Cannot save or publish contents in Internet Explorer 9

    Hi!,

We can't save or publish contents in Internet Explorer 9. Everything works fine with Internet Explorer 10 and 11.

Is Umbraco 7.1.x back office compatible with IE 9 ?

    Thanks.

Hi Alain and welcome to our :)

Hmm, I can't remember wether IE9 is supported in 7 or not. Think I saw something about v9 being the lowest IE version supported in umbraco 7. However I'm not certain.

What exact version of Umbraco are you using? Is it 7.1.3?

    Hi Alain

With the help of Sebastiaan Janssen I found the documentation where it's stated that v7 is supported in IE10+ - You can see the information on the bottom of the page here http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/system-requirements

So no support for IE9 with v7, which explains why publishing does not work. If you need support for IE9 in the future v6 is still a viable option.

    Hope this helps.

    /Jan

    Kick!

Is there any work-around for this? There must be, shouldn't it?

We've build an entire site on Umbraco v7, and now, we find out the customer can't save new content... :(

Hopefully someone found out how to create a workaround for this, please tell..

    Grtz,

    Remko
