    Umbraco 7.1.3 - User cannot insert images in RTE

    Hi,

    We want to create a Media tree like:

    - Media

         - Website

         - Users

              - User01

              - User02

              - .....

    Using the "Start Node in Media Library" setting, we setup:

      User1 has only access to the "\Media\Users\User01" folder

      User2 has only access to the "\Media\Users\User02" folder

    Users are able to upload and manage pictures using the Media Library. However, when they try to insert an image into an RTE, they can't.

    If we change the "Start Node in Media Library" setting value to "\Media\Users" instead of "\Media\Users\Usersxx", users are able to insert images into RTEs.

    Is it a bug or are we missing something?

    Is there a way to give permissions only to specific media folders like we do with contents?

    Hi Alain

    I think that's a bug since the scenario you describe worked in earlier versions.

    Do you mind filing an issue about it on http://issues.umbraco.org/issues if it's not already reported?
