I have to press the button to get the save through. Screen does refresh on ctrl-s. Other editors like masterpages and css do work correcty.

What browser are you using and what exact version of Umbraco 7 are you running?

7.1.4 on Chrome. Did not test other browsers because other editors respond correctly on ctrl-s. I can see the page refreshing, but there is nothing saved.
Perhaps this should be filed as a bug report on http://issues.umbraco.org if you don't mind? :)

im still getting it in umbraco 7.2
