I have just built an umbraco project in visual studio and published it out to my host.
When i navigate to the domain I have published to i am presented with a page displaying:
Please wait for 10s while we prepare to serve the page you have requested...
You can modify the design of this page by editing /config/splashes/booting.aspx
How can i resolve this?

Seems that you need to get in touch with your webhost regarding this behaviour.

It's most likely that you haven't published everything completely.
Also, try to go to /umbraco (if that does work) and right click on Content and choose "Republish entire site".
