I'm currently evaluating Umbraco 7.1.4 as a replacement for our existing, creaky, webforms based CMS. We have a number of workflows which include (unfortunately) pasting in large tracts of text from Word documents. Procedural change is not really an option...
These Word documents contain footnotes and endnotes, and we need to be able to bring them in automatically. Our current CMS product uses CKEditor, which I've found to be extensible enough to handle our workflow nicely... TinyMCE seems really straightforward from a user's point of view, but strips out all of our footnotes, and I can't find any way of making it work.
The TinyMCE forum has a number of unanswered questions on footnotes too...
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting footnotes into Umbraco? Can I replace TinyMCE with CKEditor?
