Hi guys,
Quick question.
I have an umbraco installation on a domain : domain.com. (The installation uses local databases not a server their all in files).
I want to move the site to a new domain on a different host.
Providing the hosting is exactly the same and same resources can i simply copy all the files across?
Kind regards.
Hi James,
If I understand your question correct, You are using the SQLCE database,
If you do that, you simply take all the files, and copy them, and then upload the files to the new domain by FTP.
After that you should just visit your site at the new domain and all should be good.
If you have other questions to this, keep asking, and I would try to help you.
Hope this helps,
/Dennis
