    How would you approach this?

    Hi all,

I've created a few sites i the past using mostly Umbraco 6.x branch.

I've had an idea for a project for a while and I've finally found some time to start thinking about it in more detail.

The site is a fairly basic classified type website where users register, create a advert and pay for it to be displayed.

Adverts are then searchable and the user has some control to manage the advert in the backend as well as send/reply to messages from interested parties.

I was originally going to tackle this using vanilla MVC but then thought this could be a good opportunity to get dug in to V7.

I'm not sure on the best approach to implementing this in V7, should each Advert its own node of a custom document type (similar to news/news articles) or would I be best holding the adverts in a custom table and using macros/surface controllers to interact with them?

I appreciate there are a thousand ways to implement this but I'm looking to the community for ideas how they would implement it, especially users familiar with v7.

    Thanks in advance
