Login and Change Password

Hi everyone,

After new install of u7.1.8 assembly: 1.0.5394.16131 i tried to add new users to the backend but somehow none can login.

Tried to change Password / Reset Password but none worked. Also used Private / Incognito window but still cant login with new password.

Any suggestions to this ?

Ok looks like i wasnt using email address for the login.

But i still cant change the Password for the Top Admin user. I tried to create a new Admin User and it works but not the default admin user when installing umbraco.

It's something to do with caching. If you rebuild the solution (tested on VS) or recycle IIS apppool/website. It does work.

Hi Jivan,

Yes it does work but need to restart IIS all the time if any change of password. Anyways i dont see why you will change password so often.
