We've published our site and everything is up and running but right now there is a lot of hard coded html done in the rich text editor. If an editor logs in and starts editing these pages we all know what will happen... :) Some things can be put in macros but there are things like two column divs used in a lot of places that an editor without html skills should be able to edit without accidently deleting the "invisible" code. A macro with two rich text editors (one for each column) was one approach I thougt about but it's just to crammed of a space to edit in the right hand bar that is the macro editor. You should also f.ex.be able to stack one, two or three column layouts randomly and freely without having to worry about breaking anything.
So, what are the best practices to create flexible workflows and still maintain the design and feel of the page?
