May I ask what your scenario for wanting to do this is? I would not recommend it since the page will then be named "Sub title" and if you're having more than one of them then it will be hard to navigate the tree etc.
So if you could share a bit more information about your scenario it will be easier to help you out I think.
I want to display both "Name" and "Sub title" in content tree. Default display makes it difficult for user to find content and guess what kind of content. This is especially so in Japanese.
In my scenario, most of document type has "Sub title" as property.
How to customize content tree
Hi,
Can I display my property rather than name in content tree?
Ex. "Sub title"
thanks

Hi Jan,
Thank you for your help.

I want to display that in the following figure.
Thanks,
Hiroka
Hi Hiroka
Ok, but could you then just write the subtitle as a part of the pagename then?
To avoid the page url being messed up you could perhaps use http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/umbraco-best-practices/umbracourlname to ensure that the url does not contain the subtitle perhaps?
