    Umbraco Forms 7.2 Documentation.

Is there any good documentation about using Umbraco Forms?

I am new to Umbraco so it's nice to be able to RTFM.

    Cheers

Hi Dave and welcome to our.

I think that you can use the documentation on Contour, http://our.umbraco.org/projects/umbraco-pro/contour/documentation/developer/ it´s the Contour package that have be renamed to Umbraco forms, and then I has get an makeover so it fetch into the new design of Umbraco 7. I know there have also be some changes to the databse tables in the new Umbraco Forms,

Since you are new to Umbraco I assume that you don´t know the uHangout concept. The concept is that Warren Buckley taks to a person about some Umbraco stuff on fridays, And one of the newer episodes, is about the new Umbraco Forms, where Per from the Umbraco HQ, talk about how it works, whats new and the database table updates, and so on.

You can find the episode here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTKb4k4UJqU, and here http://uhangout.co.uk/ (But the uHangout site is down at the moment when I am writing this post)

Hope this helps, and answers your question.

    /Dennis

Actually, the contour and forms projects are 2 seperate projects, with very different codebases, so do not use the Contour docs.

Instead, use the forms documentation here (it will be available on our soon)

Most of the links on the GitHub documentation for Editors are 404's though. Not helpful when trying to sell the idea to a non-techy marketing dept ;) Any idea when they'll be available?

    Cheers,

    Craig

    Thanks Chris.

I can never find what I need in the Documentation section on Our. Something to do with the layout I think, and the search. Usually better to for Google it.

    Thanks,

    Craig
