    Examine Search Analytics

Is it possible to get any analytics for on-site searches performed using Examine? There's obviously no query string involved, so nothing is caught by GA, but my client rather 'expects' this functionality…

    Thanks

    Robin

It's a standard site search using Umbraco 7's built-in Examine search feature. It works great – nice and fast – but I really need to be able to get some analytics on which terms are being searched for. The site in question is stpancras.com

    Thanks

    Hi Robin,

http://stpancras.com/ - great site ) You can subscribe on search event and sent these terms to analytics.

Or add js code passing data to analytics to the page and send it before search on the site.

    Thanks
