I have several items in the "Translation/Tasks created by you" section for pages that have been deleted. If I click on one of these items I get a YSOD in the right hand page "Object reference not set to an instance of an object", which is fair enough. However, I can't now delete the item to clean up the list.
Any idea how this can be done?
Also would be nice for it to fail in a sensible way, so you CAN delete it if it's not required any more. Might raise an issue.
Thanks for that but not very user-friendly. The translation service is supposed to make it easy for editors to get translations done, so a bit of tidying up is in order I think. We all make simple mistakes. I think we should be able to get out of the simpler ones easily ;)

Hi Craig
Did you ever find a solution to this ?
Sorry no, I didn't. I raised http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-6097 but there's been no progress on it.
Ok, I got a tip from a friend.
If you have access to the database, you can delete them from the table named cmsTasks.
