I have just upgraded to 7.2.1. I would like to be able to continue to use the razor macros scripts that i have had from earlier versions (at least for now until i find time to convert them all to partial views). Is this possible?
And if so, i would like to be able to edit the scripts through the UI (developer section). But under developer section where the macro scripts used to be, currently i can only see the Partial View Macro Files.
On the file system i have kept the macroScripts folder intact.
What version did you upgrade from? I don't think that the macroScripts will work on v7 since it's the first implementation of Razor in Umbraco and is a legacy, which is no longer supported so you should probably start rewriting the to partial view macros instead.
I started from 4.7.1 and worked my way up to 7. At some point i think version 6, i upgraded all razor scripts, not to partial, just from razor 2 to 4 or whatever the version was. so they were working again. this was before upgraded 7.
