    Insert User Control as Macro In Page

    Hi,

    We have imported user control in Umbraco Admin site, now we want to add that user control as macro in my page.

    But when i look at the option to "Insert Macro" in the tool bar of my page i didn't find any macro (user control which i have added) in the "Choose a Macro" dropdown.

    How ever we are able to add that user control as marco in the template. Just for your information we are using Umbraco 7.2.1 version.

    Can any one please help us on this?

    Hi Tarunjit, 

    The way I think that you should do is like this:

    1. Go to the developer section open the macro folder.
    2. Create a new macro and in there you can point to different types of files, including a usercrontrol.
    3. I can´t remember if they need to be placed in the usercontrol folder in your Umbraco filesystem. But I think.
