Editor account recycle bin redirecting to login screen - v7.2.1
Hi, I have created a user account of type editor and all is good, accept when clicking on either the content or media recycle bins the user is immediately redirected to the login screen, with a "Session timed out message". When I login with an administrator account, clicking the recycle bin behaves as expected by showing a list of its contents.
Should editor accounts be able to view the contents of the recycle bin, or is redirecting to the login screen the intended behavior?
I don't think that such behavior is to be expected since editors should in some scenarios be allowed to recreate content from the recycle bin if they deleted a node by mistake for instance.
I think you should file a bug report on the issue tracker about it.
This issue is fixed and should be available in Umbraco 7.2.2 http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-5974, which I think will be released soon - hopefully in this week, but don't hang me up on this :)
