Adding my own classes to the Grid TextPage data type

Hi Folks, I've just started using version 7 and trying to add my own classes to the Grid TextPage datatype. This question may well of been answered but I'm struggling to find it, sorry. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Darren

    Hi Darren,

When you are saying adding my own classes to the Grid TextPage data type, did you mean styles and settings. If so then to the developer section then find the data type for the page type. In your case find the data type called Grid text page. Click on this and you wll see all the row configurations for the page. If you scroll futher down you will see a section called styles and settings.

When you need to add new styles, then click on edit and add the new color. It´s written in JSON format.

If you have access to Umbraco TV, you will find a whole chapter about the Grid Layout here http://umbraco.tv/videos/umbraco-v7/implementor/fundamentals/grid-layouts/, and for the settings and styles question here:http://umbraco.tv/videos/umbraco-v7/implementor/fundamentals/grid-layouts/settings-and-styles/

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

    Hi Dennis,

    I hope you're keeping well.

This might well do the trick. Basically I want to add an additional class alongside the bootstrap stuff.

    Cheers

    Darren
