    Notifications in Umbraco 7

    Hello,

    Does anyone know if it's possible to stop particular user groups/users from setting notifications. i.e. can we hide this link in the menu completely?

    What kind of notifications is it that you want to hide? Is it stuff like "Content saved succesfully"...etc.?

    Hi Jan,

    Thanks for responding, Ideally we want an administrator to dictate what notifications a particular user should receive, rather than let them decide for themselves. It seems very little point in having a Send for Approval/Publishing, when no one gets notified because they've all forgotten to tick the relevant box in the notifications pane.

    As we can't change this - AFAIK, we were thinking if it's possible to control access to the notifications option so that only certain users have the options of what notifications they receive. Does this make sense?
