    Redirects not working

    Hi,

    I'm currently running v7.1.7 and have several redirects set up on some folders/pages

    I have a Home page with a latest news child page.

    I also have a /News/ node as a sibling of the /home/ page.

    The news folders are in the structure /news/latest-news/news/

    There are redirects against /home/latest news, /news/ and /news/latest-news/, each pointing to /news/latest-news/news/, configured using the Redirect tab for each of these items.

    The /home/latest news/ page and /news/ both work and redirect correctly but navigation to /news/latest-news/ does not redirect at all.

    Please could someone advise on whether I could be missing something here? I'd rather not use a plugin or IIS rewrite if this can be avoided. It just seems odd that some of these redirects work and others do not.

    Hi Bob,

    Are you using 'umbracoRedirect' property ? Maybe this property will be better ? https://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/umbraco-best-practices/umbracointernalredirectid

    Thanks Alex. This turned out to be a bug in a redirect feature developed in house.
