For some reason my content nodes are not unpublishing when the unpublish date has been elapsed. Is there anything I need to do ensure this content gets unpublished in an automated fashion? Currently runing 7.23

Are you load balancing? Could you check your log files to see if there is anything logged at the scheduled time?

Strange, what time was it supposed to published at?
As a test I set the unpublished date to expire in 5 mins, but none of the nodes with unpublish dates get unpublished.
