Dialogue is a port of MVCForum for Umbraco, which seem to integrate into Umbraco using Umbraco to handle members for instance - Simpily forums it not intended for large scale usage since it create posts as nodes in the Umbraco backoffice.

Yes as far as I know there is two forum modules for Umbraco.
I think that you should take a look at the package called Dialogue https://our.umbraco.org/projects/collaboration/dialogue, another package could be the simpily forums https://our.umbraco.org/projects/collaboration/simpily-forums
