This maybe a dumb question, but I'm trying to reorder my macro parameters. It seems like the sort order is set to alphabetically on the alias column. Is there a way to reorder it? I know I can change the alias field around so that certain fields are on top. I was just curious if there's a better solution?
I havenĀ“t seen ant options for reorder the macro parameters. So I think that you should create a feature request on the issue tracker http://issues.umbraco.org/ so the Umbraco HQ knows that you think it could be a nice feature to have.
Perhaps, if some one else on the community think it could be nice to have too, he or she will make a pull-request for this. And since Umbraco is open source, if you have the skllis yourself, then you can make a pull-request.
Hope this helps. If you create a feature request on the issue tracker then please link to it in this post, so other that comes across this post can vote for it.
Unfortunately there are no other ways around it currently - The only option is doing it manually. So it's a good idea to file a feature request about this on the issue tracker since this is an area that needs some TLC.
ReOrdering Macro Parameters
Hello,
This maybe a dumb question, but I'm trying to reorder my macro parameters. It seems like the sort order is set to alphabetically on the alias column. Is there a way to reorder it? Hi Ryan,

Here is a blogpost on how to make a pull-request, to the Umbraco source code. http://umbraco.com/follow-us/blog-archive/2014/12/18/new-source-control-branching-structure and http://24days.in/umbraco/2014/your-first-pull-request/
Hope this helps. If you create a feature request on the issue tracker then please link to it in this post, so other that comes across this post can vote for it.

Hi Ryan

I submit a feature request to Umbraco. Hopefully I did it right.

Hi!
Is this feature available? I can see it was completed while ago: https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/pull/932
But not sure which version it was included into. I'm using v7.2.6 and the feature is still not there.
is working on a reply...
