hi.
im working on my website and i just want to add a good slider to my website.
there are some of them as i searched but most of them has no documet to how to work with. can you introduce me a simple one to work with and tell me how to work with.
thanks
The concept of a slider can be implemented in various ways using Umbraco using existing slider plugins or custom ones.
For instance I think that slick looks really nice http://kenwheeler.github.io/slick/ - Do you have any particular slider in mind that you would like to use?
And have you considered what your Umbraco architecture should look like? (How the editor is going to create a caroussel) - The packages that can be found might not necessarily be compatible with the latest release of Umbraco either - So perhaps considering doing this customly might be a good idea.

If you're planning on making use of the grid then this article by the father of the grid editor, Antoine might help? http://24days.in/umbraco/2014/grid-macros/

Hi Moeen,
As an alternativ to the links Jan already has provided to you. I think maybe the package uSkySlider from LECOATÌ, could be a good solution for you. With this packages you can make a slider, with some different options. You can see more about the package here https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/uskyslider and here is a YouTube demo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCoQNoQRa2s
If you want to know even more about the package try to see the about the package session from the last year Codegarden conference in Copenhagen. http://stream.umbraco.org/video/9948281/the-sky-is-the-limit
Hope this helps,
/Dennis
Hello,
In the Hybrid Framework there is an example on the homepage that works with Archetype and adaptive responsive images.
