Can anyone suggest video tutorial that match the latest stable version of Umbraco - 7.2.4. I've signed up to monthly subscription on Umbraco.tv in hope to learn umbraco as quick as possible. Yet, the tutorials there are not matching to the latest version I am working on.
I can't even follow the tutorial as it's so different from the beginning. Please help where to find up to date tutorials.
I have been looking for the same myself, but I havent been able to find any either. I also signed up on TV to get the tutorials and noticed the same as you. I think a lot of the back is the same even tho it looks different. The videos are alright, but yeah, I agree that they should be updated to fit the latest version. We pay for it, so we should get the latest.
I understand that most of the back end is probably the same, but if I someone is new to Umbraco as I am then it's all confusing. How can I move to back end when I am new and trying to follow the beginnings?
I've noticed that Umbraco is releasing stable versions every month, then I would expect to release the tutorials as well, at least for the starters.
I hope someone knows here what is the workaround in this situation.
Thanks for your replies guys. The v7 tutorials do indeed exist, but they don't match to v7.2.4. As I understood V7 was available from last year ans since then it undergone several relaeases. And the tutorial on V7 available doesn't always match with 7.2.4 version and it can be confusing. I agree that there minor changes perhaps, but for the beginner is indeed confusing.
The documentation on our.Umbraco.com is also out of date. I still need to check the docs on GitHub.
Same here. Paid for an umbraco.tv subscription thinking I'd get some in-depth (worth paying for) video training. What's there is slightly out of date, but also just barely scratches the surface. Disappointed and it looks like I'm going to have to do a ton of reading instead. :(

Hi Severin and Alex,
You are right, video tutorials aren't updated for latest Umbraco version, but functionality of the admin part is very similar.
Read great information about latest version of Umbraco here :

Great epub version - http://24days.in/umbraco/2014/epub/
Thanks, Alex
Hi guys
Just want to add to Alex' post above that v7 specific videos actually exist on umbraco.tv if you go to this page http://umbraco.tv/videos/umbraco-v7/
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Jan,
Great video collection ))
