Heavy web application with Umbraco: Can be Umbraco a foundation or is better to start from new MVC webapp?
I've to build a web application where some people put in data copied by contract documents and upload docs. So the backoffice read them and approve or not and they do other actions. Will be some data mining on document data.
So, I wish your suggestion: Is Umbraco a good point to start? Is better to build data entry form in Umbraco backend or not? Is better and fast to build a MVC app from zero?
We don't forget authorization and authentication -:)))
Umbraco is very customizable, so even if you won't be satisfied by working of Umbraco admin part, you will be able to write your own controls with better performance.
So I think, Yes, Umbraco is good for your application with a lot of documents.
I think from 50 / 100 members where each of them have their customers. I'll create agent and customer member type and then some document type to create relation in content among agent -> customers -> docs.

My idea is to use Umbraco backend only for backoffice and web secured area for members build on Umbraco CMS functions.
Hi Biagio,
It's good idea, Umbraco backend is good and easy to customize.
How much members are you planning to manage ?
Thanks

It's not a problem for Umbraco at all. Performance of your application should be ok.
Thanks
Uhm..I think that I need to made some improvements on backend CSS...there is a lot of space...
