Not sure I fully understand your question, but If you'd like to present a list of members to pick from (rather than search) then you could use an Xml PrefetchList Picker from nuPickers (assuming of course there are not too many to list - if there are lots of members then the Xml TypeaheadList Picker may be of use)
Thank you for the reply. I havent looked at the Nupickers extension yet, just used the built-in "Member Picker" data-type.
Just to clarify, the default-shipped Member Picker dataype allows to search-and-pick member(s) - but then from end-user (editor) perspective it doesnt give click-to-open member sort of function, to retrieve the details of the selected member. Not sure if that makes any sense.
Member Picker
Using (maintaining) a 7.1.6 installation, where I need to add Member Picker data-type to a doctype.
The default member picker, once selected, can easily be deleted with the x (cross) icon, and there is no link-to-show-member sort of function.
Is such feature available in later version or by an extension?
thanks for your attention.
