I've asked about this before a few times but always managed to muddle through by installing a whole new Umbraco instance, then marking all paths as ignored (~/) just so I can use the Umbraco member login in another web forms site.
I had a lot of problems going from Umbraco 4 to 6, and now I'm having even more going from 6 to 7. I get errors all over the place now - presumably because of stuff I've turned off, and which I'd really rather not fix because I don't need any of Umbraco except the membership provider!
So: How do I go about just using the Umbraco membership provider from version 7 in a non-Umbraco site?
