Had a very strange incident today where the root node (and all sub nodes) have been deleted from a clients site.
I have checked the UmbracoTraceLog.txt file and this lists all pages has being deleted but no sign of any errors or what action triggered them to be deleted.
I have also checked the umbracoLog database table and can see that the the pages where deleted by userId 0 (root user).
I can confidently say that no human party would have logged in with the root account (id 0) to trigger this.
Does anybody have any ideas on what may have caused this as I'm stumped?
P.S. Luckily had a database backup so the site is now working again.

Many thanks,

Hi Martin,
I am not sure what happened.
But one thing is that if that content pages are there in the recycle bin than you can get back those content page.
So can you please check that.
Hope it will help.
