    Import csv as content pages

    Hi All

Just wondering if it is possible to import data from a csv file as content pages. In this case each line of the csv file will correspond to a member of staff and their details. In our instance of Umbraco we have a content page for each member of staff (to make them searchable). I have found CMSImport and wonder would it work? This will be a one off import, so maybe it might be as well to do it manually, though there could be 120 entries or so....

    Thanks. Tony

    Hi Tony,

With the CMSImport you can import CSV as nodes / pages in Umbraco, the package is made by Soeteman Software, and you can import theses formats by default with CMSImport

    • Access Database
    • BlogML
    • CSV
    • Excel File
    • RSS Feed
    • SQL Server Umbraco
    • WordPress
    • XML

You can find more information about the product here http://soetemansoftware.nl/cmsimport, and see some videos http://soetemansoftware.nl/cmsimport/videos about how it works. You could also try ping Richard on Twitter @soetemansoft or @rsoeteman, if you have a very specific question about the product

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis
