I'm looking at creating a blog page with blog posts on a website. It seems as though Umbraco 7.2 can do this out of the box without me having to add any additional packages.
Does anyone have any experience with creating blog functionality using only Umbraco 7.2 out of the box that they could share?
Just want to know if i should abandon this idea now and install a package.

For blog functionality using Umbraco 7.2 I would recommend you to take a look at the Articulate package http://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits/articulate to see if it´s suits your needs for your blog feature.
