Content tree collapsing when I select a node in v7.2.5
Hi,
I'm seeing an issue with v7.2.5 where the content tree refreshes every time I select a content node more than 2 levels from the root (although clicking some nodes at the same level with the same parent doesn't cause the refresh to happen!)
I've only seen this happening since upgrading to 7.2.5 last week - any tricks for sorting this as it's making it a bit tricky to manage and publish 30k+ content items... :s
I've tried republishing the root node, restarting IIS and I have checked my user permissions (startStructureID = -1) but still no joy.
Ok I've found the problem - I moved a load of content around in the tree structure, and I think the 'move' process didn't finish properly. So all the path IDs are messed up in the UmbracoNode table.
So it looks like 'user error' rather than a bug, which is good, and I get to answer my own question which is even better! :)

9 years on and running 13.3.1 and this can still happen.
