    DatePicker DataType issue when I set to 'Mandatory' on Umbraco 7.2.6

    I am using the latest release of Umbraco 7.2.6 and having the issue when I choose the Date Property as Mandatory.

    Steps to do

    1. If date is empty then validation works perfectly
    2. If I pick a date using datepicker and publish, it won't publish
    3. If I copy N paste the date from the date textbox it validate and works fine.

    please help me to fix this issue.

    I've also encountered the same issue without the DatePicker being mandatory in Umbraco 7.2.6. The node wasn't able to publish because of the DatePicker but when I manually entered a space and removed it , I was able to publish again.
