    Examine PDF Indexer Random characters on indexed content

    Using Umbraco 7
    Umbraco 7

    I installed the PDFIndexer with Examine and added two PDF documents to the media. On the one I created myself using MS Word the complete text is indexed and can be searched.

    the other one i received from an external source and it is indexed but checking the index with Luke show random characters instead of the text.

    What could be the cause and is there an alternative maybe?
