unable to remove content after document type changed

    Hi Umbraco Forum Team

I have changed the document type of content node, this now appears twice in the navigation. After deleting node from content tree and recycling bin, i can still browse to the content page. I have recycled the application pool and touched the web.config, no success.

Has anyone had similar issue when changing document type on content ?

    Thanks Dibs

    Hi Dibs,

can you browse to the content page in frontend or backend or both?

Which version of umbraco 7 do you have?

    Best, Sören

    Hi Soren

i can browse only in front end, no entry of content node in back office, haven't tried to browse by IS, would need to check the DB for that.

    version is 7.26

    Thanks Dibs

Ok, right click on the name "Content" at the top of your content tree and chose "Republish entire site". Maybe there is a cache issue. With this you can clear the umbraco cache file.

    Best, Sören

    Cheers Soren

That did the trick : )

I had logged this with YouTrack, since it was a simple case of clearing cache, i can see why no one answered it. i'll just close it off

    Thanks Dibs
