Help: Floating and alligning images using RTE

    Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could help me in regards to moving images using RTE.

I have ticked the boxes in data types so that the images can align to the left and right, but was wondering how I could get these images to float or wrap around the text?

At the moment they are very inflexible and pretty useless.

I have attempted to use this wiki

    https://our.umbraco.org/wiki/recommendations/recommended-reading-for-content-editors/adding-styles-to-the-tinymce

but I cannot work out how to do it exactly. I have created a new style sheet, but when going into data types> RTE, "related style sheets: doesn't exist.

If anyone has any info on how i can achieve floating images, that would be great.

I am new to everything web development-related, so precise and simple instructions would be immensely appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Emma

    Hi Emma,

Just to be sure: In Umbraco 7, that option is just called Stylesheets - but I kinda get that that's not the problem?

Can you post a screenshot of what your RTE data type looks like?

    Hi Emma,

Perhaps this video about how to add styles to the RYE can help you.

    Hope this helps, a bit.

    /Dennis
