    Mandatory Date Picker field prevents page publication

    Hi,

    Using Umbraco 7.2.5: Set one of the Document Type fields as "Date Picker" and mandatory.

    When I edit the page content (with this document type) , I always get a page validation error, saying the date field is empty although it is populated.

    Any idea ?

    I was seeing this on 7.2.6 too. I just upgraded to 7.2.8 and it appears that it fixed this issue.

    I think there's still another issue in 7.2.8, make sure to check this for a workaround : http://issues.umbraco.org/issueMobile/U4-6953
