I have a docType that is called House with two properties; Street Name and House Type under a tab called House Details
I have another docType called HousePictures. This HousePictures docType has 3 properties; Picture Name (TextString), MainPicture (Media Picker), ThumbnailPicture (Media Picker).
I would like it so when the editor of the content adds a House, they see two tabs, House Details and House Pictures. Under the House Details tab are the Street Name and House Type properties and under the House Pictures tab, there is list of House Pictures of docType House Pictures where they can click on an item in the list and edit it.
Is this scenario possible in Umbraco and if it is, how do I set this up.
What you should do to archive this is that create only on DocType named e.g House an on this DocType you can add to tabs on called House details and one called house images.
On the two tabs you add the properties that the user should fill out for each house.
I think if you see this video chapter about how to work with document types in Umbraco you will be good to go. The document type thing is the one of the milestones in Umbraco.
