In theory you can use Umbraco for anything. In saying that I personally believe Umbraco is more suited to content heavy websites.

The websites you mention look more like SaaS offerings and I probably wouldn't use Umbraco for this.

Another option would be to use Umbraco for the marketing pages of the website (blog, about us, contact pages) and then a pure MVC solution for the actual app.

    Hope that helps. Matthew

    Mentorship Utility as a Student

The mentorship forums are an economical way to gain genuine knowledge for the undergraduate and graduate admissions most students have to take every year. As proper tuition is an expensive commodity for the normal middle-class student, they tend to use mentorship forums more often.

Here is how a good mentorship forum should be availed by you in your quest to get admission in a good international college.

Find the Right Mentor: It should be considered common sense that you need to find a mentor who understands your case. Here are a few pointers on how to find the right mentor: Don’t find a yes man; find someone who is willing to understand your story. Don’t go for too critical either, find a person who is here with constructive and useful criticism. Look for the right expertise: jot down all the weaknesses and make sure that you are getting the person who can deliver all of the expertise to you in due time. Credentials are important so make sure that the credentials of that person are valid and they are the right match for your requirements.

Plan Practically: The time frame that you are working with is the key to a successful campaign. The process of learning with a university mentor requires time for various tasks like finishing homework, doing school and other assignments, etc. So here are tips to make the right schedule:

Have a Realistic Tasklist: Many students in high school have a hard time understanding how to divide their time for tasks. Tasks are varied and will require a considerable amount of your time. So plan with a realistic time frame for every task.

Have a realistic tuition plan: Make sure that you do all the assignments that you had planned with your instructor and are never skipping meetings. Online tuition requires considerable self-control as you can easily skip a class without your parents noticing. So have a schedule that you like so that you can adhere to it.

Have Realistic Goals: It is important to have realistic goals for the tuition assignments that you are doing. Here are a few ways to achieve that: Grades: Aim realistically for grades but make sure you achieve them. For example, if you failed a course then don’t aim for an A+ in the next exam. Instead, aim for C+ but make sure that you get the grade you are hoping for.

Work Smart: No one cares how many hours you are spending on studying. If you are still getting an F then you might as well waste that time on a video game. Study with friends or just teach your mom, your assignment topics. But make sure that the course you are working on will be clearly understood by you. All in all, it is best to plan your online mentoring sessions in a practical and effective manner.
