When you initially create the Umbraco instance your asked to create an admin user.
If in the back office you create another couple of admin users with full admin privileges they can't 'see' the original (overall) admin user in the user section when they log in but the overall admin login see's all.
If caused me a problem when a fellow dev created a Umbraco site and left the business. I couldn't log in to change his permissions/revoke access but he was set the overall admin.
Never found a work around other than to create an generic overall admin account and then individual accounts. So that when someone leaves the business these generic account settings can be changed.
Why only first created amin user can see other users?
Hi,
Is it only my or Umbraco 7.2.6 that new created admin user with access to everything cannot see other users?
Why?
Cheers
Hi,
Could you expand on the issue? Where are you expecting to see other users?
If you are referring to the backoffice - which users are you expecting to see?
Gary
Hi Gary,
Umbraco Backoffice, Section Users. CLick on users shows only logged in user.
I know what he means.
