Background

I have Umbraco running a website on a development server. To push changes to the live server I use an application on dev server called SyncToy which basically copys Umbraco files from the dev server to the live server.

Recently I added a 2nd site node to our Umbraco instance which has different hostnames to the 1st site.

Umbraco hostnames

The hostnames for the 1st website are:

dev.website1.com (works fine)

www.website1.com (works fine)

The hostnames for the 2nd website are:

dev.website2.com (works fine)

www.website2.com (does not work!)

Live Server/IIS setup

The 2 site domains (website1.com and website2.com) share the same site instance in IIS but have different port numbers.

The Problem

When typing www.website2.com into the web browser it brings up the www.website1.com site which is the 1st site node in Umbraco. It should bring up www.website2.com (the 2nd site node).

I am totally stumped as to why this is happening!?
