    Suggestions to make an Umbraco website as future-proof as possible?

    Hi,

    I'm in the early stages of building a big, brand new website on Umbraco 7. We want this site to stay relevant and maintainable as long as humanly possible.

    Other than avoiding the use of smaller plugins that may not be be maintained a few years from now, what steps can I take to maximize the lifetime of an Umbraco 7 site?
