I am trying to configure email notifications between our content editors and admins. I have found that if the writers have ONLY the 'Publish' notification selected, and an administrator moves or sorts content within the area for which notifications are set, a 'Publish' email notification is sent for each page affected in the move/sort operation. Even worse if a block of content (say parent + 25 child nodes) is MOVED, a 'Publish' email is sent for each item of content affected, resulting in 26 emails being sent to the writer.
So first question, do 'Move' and 'Sort' also trigger 'Publish'? If so, is there any way of preventing the 'Publish' email notifications under these circumstances.
