(This is a topic about the CMS, and not code. The questions below are aimed at the arcitecture in the CMS buildup and nothing to do with MVC and code arcitecture.)
So i've been working with Umbraco for about a year now and learned alot of stuff! i absolutely love the CMS and im trying to learn new stuff every day.
With that said, i feel that im lacking some fundamental understanding of how to build up the CMS in a smart and efficient way. Everytime i start a new project i keep asking the same questions. How should i build my document types? when should i build grid editors vs macros? how should i build my navigation?
You see, there are alot of ways of doing these things, how are you doing it? are there some good examples out there one can look at? Are there any good documentation or articles written on best practices in umbraco arcitecture?
