    Best practice to update existing umbraco installation

    What are the best practices for updating an existing umbraco installation. I see the following options:

    1. Update via NuGet and publish it to the server
    2. Update via Backend and publish it to the server
    3. Update both local and remote via backend

    What is the best solution? I personally would go for option 1.
