How is media managed with the new decentralized load-balancing in 7.3?
The new approach to load-balancing seems great, but I'm wondering how media fits into the picture.
If no server is the primary, and the back office can be accessed from any server in the cluster, how does server 1 get a new or updated PDF that was uploaded using the back office of server 3?
Can a central, shared location be configured for all media? This seems like the obvious option.
I don't think anything is changed on the media-synchronization compared to earlier versions. I also think it's still recommended to have your /Umbraco/ running on only one version and replicate the media from there on to other servers.
Off course you could also store your media-items in a centralized/shared location, but this didn't change in 7.3.
