Let's say I have a dev environment pointing to a dev db and a prod enviornment pointing to a prod db. Does courier sync the database as well or is that something I have to do with another tool or manually?
Courier does not make a database sync, but what Courier does is creating a package with the content, or template, document types that you want to transfer to the new environment.
This package will be unpacked on the webserver, and it will content of the package will be created in the new environment with the same aliases, but it can have different ids.
So it´s not a database sync 100% but it will transfer the content to the new environment.
Do you know of any umbraco package that will sync databases or is that something another tool, maybe something with red-gate or built into SQL server should handle?
Does courier sync between databases also?

Hi Saied,
I don´t have some in mind, but perhaps some other community members know some tools that you can do to a database compare.
