404 popup whenever editing content with a rich text editor & missing format menu

After upgrade to 7.3.0, I started getting these errors whenever I edit a page with a rich text editor media picker.

How can I find out the cause?

I think it's because Umbraco is calling http://fee.org/umbraco/backoffice/UmbracoApi/Entity/GetByIds?type=Document without any IDenter image description here

That API call should be fine without an id.. It's similar to this question, maybe simply restarting the site will help? https://twitter.com/j_breuer/status/576036797236543489

I've just tried a few things (among which a media picker) in both debug and non-debug mode but I can't reproduce.

What does the <runtime>\<assemblyBinding > section of your web.config look like?

This issue started after I cleared all the caches due to another issue after upgrading to 7.3.0. It doesn't happen in our dev environment.

I have tried resetting everything - rebooting, deleting everything in App_Data, incrementing clientDependency, and republishing.

No idea why it only happens on live (release build) or how to narrow down the cause.

    That part looks good!

I think the problem might have just been fixed by Jeavon: http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-7260

Thanks - that 404 patch worked!

Any idea why the "formats" dropdown broke after the upgrade?
