My document type contains a background colour for the content editor to choose. It is rendered when the view is processed. Depending on the choses background colour, I need to select a foreground colour for the text at run time.

Easy to hard code table of background colours and related foreground colours but should I use a controller to make the selection? It would be useful to use this routine in other circumstances.
