    What is Umbraco doing?

I've just installed version 7.3.0 and imported everything from my old CMS, and everything is going fine.

It's quite a big site, which probably answers my question below.

Anyway, I had to move the homepage to the root of the site and it's taking some time to do this. I can see the umbraco.config being updated, but have precious little else to go on.

Is there any way to find out just what it's doing?

Hi Alex, many thanks for your reply.

After moving the content, the back-office displayed a progress bar going back and forth in the Content Section, a useful indicator to show that Umbraco was busy doing something.

As the move was taking some time to complete, I would have liked to know a bit more about how long it would take.

Is there is a tool that you can use to monitor activity within Umbraco, or anything out there that gives detailed information?

    Many thanks,

    Muiris

    Hi Muiris,

As I know you can't see some indicator as you want.

    Thanks, Alex.

I guess I can use Microsoft tools to look at server activity.
