    Preview mode doesn't work when Page has a restricted access (with Public access feature)

    Using Umbraco 7

    Hi,

    I'm able de use Preview mode when page are Public. But my site need to have some pages with an restricted access (only for login user).

    When I configure this with the Public Access feature, I'm not able to preview my page...

    I have ... Is there a workaround ?

    I´m experiencing the same problem with a page with restricted access in Umbraco 7.4.1

    Is this a bug or did you find a workaround?

    Also wondering this, for v8. Can't find anything in the documentation, and can't find any issues on GitHub.

    I'm guessing Preview isn't supported for restricted pages, and that this is omitted from the documentation as an oversight.

    A workaround is to sign in both as a member and a user, right?

    Yes, I assume because the two use different memberships, but it is a bit of a PITA for editors if they can't preview stuff that has restricted public access
